Ning & I were featured in today’s issue of The New Paper as part of a small group of Singaporeans who have atypical world records.
We currently hold three magic records that are acknowledged by the Singapore Book of Records and International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM).
In 2009, we set a record for performing the most number of grand illusions in 5 minutes by performing 15 illusions. We were also presented a “Special Achievement” award from the IBM Ring 115.
In 2012, we set two records by reading 100 minds in 60 minutes in a stunt we called “The Mind Heist” as well as performing 50 magical productions in 5 minutes.
All our records were featured by the local media and we are proud to put Singapore on the world magic map. Thanks to The New Paper for thinking of us and having us be part of this feature that highlighted different Singaporeans who have made world records in unusual fields.
We are going for our 4th record with “Ultimate Inversion” on 31 Aug 2013 where we will attempt the world’s first ever tandem upside down strait jacket escape as the closing of the Singapore Night Festival. It takes place at 10pm outside the National Museum. Admission is free and open to the public.
