Illusions of the Mind – All New Interactive Illusion Show

Finally, after 8 years in the making and 1 year of rehearsals, we are all set to debut our new 2011 show – “Illusions of the Mind”.

This is a completely different show from any of our past shows and Ning & I are really excited it! We have talked about developing this show literally for years but the time was not right… until now!

Just as we took the concept of the mega illusion to new levels, we are taking interactivity in an illusion show to another level. The show represents an evolution in our approach to illusion shows.

It might be thought that this is what is known in the trade as a “mentalism” show but while we do adopt pure mentalism techniques, no mentalist on earth will agree it is a mentalism show. This is really our marriage of an illusion show and a mentalism show, a blend of visual and psychological acts that make this one of the most unique illusion shows in the world.

The show is based on our “The Impossible 4D Prediction” that created much buzz in Jan 2010. While we do a version of the 4D prediction live in the show, that is just the tip of the iceberg!

The show officially launches in 2011 but we are going to stage sneak previews (part of our full show) for the public in Nov 2010. This is part of the  2010 “Explore Singapore” campaign for the National Heritage Board.

We will be staging our first sneak preview of “Illusions of the Mind” in 2 weeks. This will be a parlour show (slightly smaller than a full stage show) of “Illusions of the Mind” and will be 30min in duration.

20 Nov 2010, Sat

8pm, 9pm, 10pm

Meet & Greet after the 10pm show

Peranakan Museum, Armenian Street

The shows are FREE and open to the public. But, seats are limited and admission is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

For latest updates on this sneak preview, check our Facebook event page here.

We are also running a contest where the winner will win:

1 Framed “Illusions of the Mind” Poster
1 Derren Brown’s ‘Tricks of the Mind’ book

That’s pretty awesome right! 🙂

Cya there!
