The upcoming weeks in Nov will be busy as we have preparations and performances for corporate work every week. The next two months in particular will see us working long hours for half a dozen large-scale customized shows for several multi-national corporations.
Our talents such as Matthew Lee who does close-up and Larry the Daredevil Magician are also busy with their own shows. Larry just completed 3 shows this past week and is honing his show with good progress.
We are also working on 3 more new illusions. One will debut in Dec 2009, while the other two will debut in our upcoming “Sexy Magic/ Urban Illusions” at St James Power Station in Jan 2010.
A couple months ago, I was developing an illusion called “The Jail Box”. It worked great on paper and the fabricated illusion looked great BUT, the illusion just didn’t work exactly the way I wanted. Thus, it has been shelved for the time being.
That is the way it is with prototyping for illusions and developing original illusions. We learn with each prototype and spend lots of money in the process. We have our hits and misses but at the end, it is the hits that propel us forward and gives us unique illusions to offer in our shows.
One new illusion is “The Spike Box” which we have developed an interesting design and presentation for. It will have a wicked stainless design like our “360 Sawing” and “Human Light Tunnel” and Ning will have two new custom swords to play with 🙂
Finally, just a word of thanks to all my readers. While not a top influencial blog by any means, my readership has been holding steady at 9000 views a month. So thanks for taking the time, commenting and sending me messages.
Ning blogged about a cool Johnny Walker viral ad recently, so it is apt to just say I’ll always “Keep on blogging….”
