A First for Singapore at Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde

Ning & I are honoured to be the first ever Singapore artistes (not just magicians) to be booked to perform for Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde in Paris, France.

Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde is a famed TV show that features the world’s top variety arts performers including magicians, illusionists, contortionists, jugglers, circus performers and any variety skill imaginable. Only the top artistes in their field, in the world, are featured in the program. Just do a YouTube search and you will find dozens of videos of different artistes including magicians and illusionists.

What thrills us the most is being able to put Singapore on the world map again in a different way. Last year, we were the first & only Singapore illusionists to be featured on
on Duel Mahakarya Magician, RCTI Indonesia, that was watched by over 40 million people. In Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde, the show will be broadcast in all French-speaking countries including Canada.

We were chosen due to our distinct “urban illusions” performance style and were specifically requested to perform “360 Sawing” for their show because of the unique look and effect of the illusion. And trust me when I say, the producers for this show have seen a LOT of magic & illusions. We have added a couple of fresh touches to the illusion just for the show!

We were first approached in Jun 2011 for a taping in Sept but as Ning was away, the producers accommodated our schedule to have us tape this first week of Dec 2011. The episode will air on New Year’s Eve.

Our big-ass ATA flight case will be shipping ahead of us and we fly to Paris on 5 Dec before flying back for shows in Singapore and tapings for “M for Magic” season 2. We will give you regular updates throughout our trip!
