‘Magic Babe’s’ “The Impalement Cage” Mega Escape Official Video
The official highlight video for ‘Magic Babe’ Ning’s “The Impalement Cage” is done!
We are very pleased with the final result as it captures the feel and energy of the mega escape and also reflects our current “Urban Illusions in the City” style.
The 3-camera team was fantastic and were experienced shooting for TV production. (The same team also shot our “Ultimate Magic” private showcase so look out for our official trailer in a few weeks.)
Our experience in filming live magic events for TV production ensured we had all contingencies covered. My suggestion to have both Ning & myself miked up direct to individual cameras was vital as the feed from the mixer was compromised by the outdoor conditions and surrounding bands that used wireless equipment. If we did not have those direct mike-ups, we would not have any usable footage. I was told by someone that I was taking it to the extreme to have each of us hooked up with two mikes…. but I’m happy I did not take that person’s advice.
Check out the video here.

There is a Chinese saying ” The older the ginger, the spicier it will be”. No doubt you have the experiences and knowledge to be able to prepare for the worst in such a situation. Being a performer also need to learn about other technical stuff beside their act.

Are you all shooting videos for your sneak previews? If there is a disc containing all these footage, I will definitely like to buy to watch and keep.
